What to Do in Phoenix This Weekend

Looking for something to do in the Phoenix area this weekend? There's something going on in every part of town! For me, the only problem is deciding which event to attend first.

Military Humvee on DisplaySouthwest Military Transport Show
When: March 21 and 22, 9am to 3pm
Where: Arizona Wing Commemorative Air Force Museum, Falcon Field in Mesa
Greenfield Road and McKellips Road
What: Military vehicle show including jeeps, trucks, and all-terrain vehicles. Swap meet with food. View permanent collection of historic military aircraft.
Cost: $3 to $7 dollars

Thunder in the Desert at Luke Air Force Base
When: March 21 and 22, 10am to 4pm
Where: Luke Air Force Base, Glendale
Glendale Ave and Litchfield Rd
What: Open house with aircraft displays and air show demonstrations
Cost: Free

Valley Fever Arts Festival
When: March 21 and 22, 10am to 6pm
Where: Heritage and Science Park, Downtown Phoenix
7th Street between Van Buren and Washington
What: Performing arts exhibitions including music, dance, poetry, and theater. Public art installations, sidewalk chalk, and other exhibits. Food and drinks including Tequilaaz! mini-festival.

When: March 21 and 22, 10am to 5pm
Where: Sahuaro Ranch Park in Glendale
